Six of Crows Duology – Review

  1. Whoever says that they did not fall in love with Kaz Brekker while reading Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom IS LYING!

I haven’t crushed on a literary character so hard since Twilight and Edward Cullen! 😍

I did not expect to like this duology as much as I did. I didn’t know what to expect going in but boy was I rewarded.

Let me begin this review by saying that normally, I am not a fun of multiple pov novels. But Bardugo made it work!

You get to see every characters insight on a single scene and it necessary that you do since as a reader you become an insider in the way they come up with these impossible plans! I was shook by the way everything planed out for them and the way it didn’t.

Be aware Six of Crows ends with major cliffhanger. I was fortunate to have Crooked Kingdom ready by my side so I only suffered a little 😂

Bardugo created amazing characters, each one with its one depth and reason for existing in the books. A major loss marked me – maybe for life- because to be honest I DID NOT SEE IT COMING.

As it is, I recommend the duology 100% especially since a third book will be joining the first two and the series was picked up by Netflix!

If that is not enough for you, I don’t know what is! 😂
Let me know if you have or plan to read the series! 🤗
